Job Description
Implementing and supporting the Jataayu Instant Messenger service at the operator location and backend support. Jataayu Instant Messenger is a project which we are doing for all the operators in India providing Instant Messaging services to the subscribers. This allows the users to achieve near Desktop Messenger experience on the Mobile device. The Job responsibility of the Implementation engineers would be managing the installation, constant interaction with the VAS Tech/Marketing teams of operators to understand and implement new Value added services on Instant Messenger. So a very good knowledge of Linux Operating System, Shell Scripting is really mandatory (RHCE). The Job role also demands constant monitoring of the services, generating and analyzing reports and stats and provide Analytical feedback of the Service. Innovation and analysis is Key to make the Instant Messaging more popular than the traditional SMS which will be the main Job objective.
Desired Profile
* RHCE (mandatory), CCNA (Preferable) Certified candidate.
* Linux Administration, Unix scripting, Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP and Shell scripts), Documentation.
* Java web services Apache Tomcat
* Excellent communication skills (Oral and written).
* An understanding of SMS technology is desirable
